Communion, Confirmation, Baptism....

On Monday 12th May, we had a very excellent first meeting of the group of children who are being prepared for communion. We looked at the story of the prodigal son, and made teaspoon people!
If any other children would like to join us, we meet again next Monday 19th May at 3:30 (or soon after if you're travelling from a little further away) until 4:30. Then we'll have one more meeting on 2nd June, before taking first communion on 8th June.

Also, we have a number of young people interested in confirmation, so if anyone else (young or old) would like to come along to confirmation classes, please can you let the office administrators know, or talk to Reverend Ann, Reverend Audrey or Reverend Susan. Please note that you have to be baptised (christened) before confirmation, but that can be done in our church, or in the confirmation service itself. Indeed, anyone who would like to discuss baptism can do so - it's definitely not just for babies.

Finally, any children who can't make the Monday Communion Preparation classes can have a preparation session with Reverend Susan at a mutually convenient time!
