Our current pattern of worship is:
9.00am Holy Communion service in Church. (When Government guidelines allow). Services are currently suspended at the moment.
Booking is essential for this service - see booking details below.
10.00am Video Service - this is produced weekly, and people are encouraged to watch it at home on a Sunday morning, around 10am.
10.45am - 11.15am Coffee and conversation via Zoom - also accessible for those without internet access.
BOOKING DETAILS:
There will be a limit of around 25-30 people who
can attend, due to 2-metre social distancing measures
Places where people may sit have been marked up in
church, there will be hand sanitising on entry, there will be no singing,
communion will be received in one kind only (the wafer). Face coverings are
currently compulsory in church unless you are exempt.
To book places you need to:
- Phone or email the
Parish Office between Monday 9am and the end of Wednesday in the week
leading up to the Sunday you want to attend. (You can leave a
phone message if no-one is there to take your call). So, for Sunday 13th
September bookings will open on Monday 7th September at 9am and
close at midnight on Wednesday 9th.
- When you phone or
email you will need to state the number and names of people who
wish to attend in your household group.
- On the Thursday you will
receive a message from the Parish Office (email or phone call) letting you know if
you have been allocated a place for the Sunday. This will also include a
reminder of the restrictions in place and what you can expect on the day.
- Those who requested a
place but did not get one will be given priority for the following Sunday.
- You can
only book in for the Sunday immediately coming up. The
booking process for the following Sunday starts afresh the next week,
Monday 9am until the end of Wednesday
- Please let us know in advance if you are exempt from wearing a face
mask.
· Alongside this
service in church, we will continue to provide the weekly video-service in its
current form as well as the weekly Worship at Home printed material. This will
give the opportunity of joining in singing in with the video service at home.
People will be encouraged to watch the video service, including those who have
attended the communion service, at around 10am if they can. We will not be able
to provide refreshments after the service in church, so will continue with the
weekly ‘After Church Coffee’ over Zoom. |
