Celebration Tea for the 25th anniversary of the opening of the
church centre (9th August 2026)
Our Parish Centre was opened in 2001 offering a modern and spacious facility for the community.
The social events team worked really hard to transform the courtyard into a charming tea room
The tea room quickly filled with parishioners
Elizabeth reminded us of the miraculous history of the church centre and introduced the ukulele band who provided fabulous entertainment
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the band
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the band and were soon singing along to old favourites
Some of the audience even started dancing
The band took many requests throughout the afternoon
Many conversations were enjoyed by all
Some sought solace from the heat before helping to serve the sumptuous tea
Numerous delicious sandwiches
Delicious cakes
Cooling water was in great supply
All too soon it was time to pack up until the 50th celebration
Well done to everyone who made the afternoon such a fantastic and enjoyable event.
