Events

St Lawrence Church has an active Community Events Team which organises about one social event per month.  

The aim of the team is to provide a variety of social events which people can come to, meet old and new friends, and share with their families and neighbours.  The events vary each month with different activities appealing to different people.  Everyone is welcome to attend, you will find a very warm welcome at St Lawrence!  

Some of the events are chargeable in advance as we are limited on numbers due to their popularity. We encourage donations only for other activities. 

Most of our events are held in our beautiful modern  church centre and outdoor courtyard.

Examples of the events we have previously organised include: 

• Quiz night with Fish and Chips

• VE Day 80th Anniversary Tea

• Harvest Festival Bring and Share Lunch

• Foodbank Coffee Morning

• Christmas Festive Fayre

• Summer BBQ

• Parish Cooked Breakfast

• Music to Delight Concert.
